Week 5 PAC-10 FB Rankings
UPDATE: Here is another take from the respected Ted Miller. The funny thing is I agree with his list wholeheartedly. He obviously knows more about football in his pinky than I do but he went about it from a different angle. I think people don’t have a problem moving Oregon State so high because of how they won. If, say, Arizona beats USC later in the year off of a few huge special...

Morality bites -- Mustering some sympathy for the... →
This article is basically about the morality of eating meat. I’ve always found it ironic when anyone other than vegetarians or vegans act like hunting and butchering your own meat is “gross” or even “cruel” (don’t even get me started on the health benefits of eating natural meat over most store-bought product). I’m not saying you have to kill your own meat...

Eat Quinoa →
Quinoa is a “pseudocereal” you can use in place of rice, couscous or any other starch. It has a lot of protein relative to rice and is full of vitamins and minerals, especially the various B vitamins and iron. You should be able to get it in a box or in the bulk section of any grocery store. Also, most Quinoa found in grocery stores comes with the outer coating already removed so you...
America's 100 most important sports venues - ESPN →
As Yankee Stadium the 1st says goobye to baseball, ESPN has made a list of the 100 most important sports venues in America. Remeber, this is not a list of the best stadiums or stadiums with the most history. Of note:
Nike World Headquarters - #8
The Rose Bowl - #9 (UCLA, Rose Bowl)
Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum - #12 (USC)
Autzen Stadium - #33 (Oregon)
Pauley Pavilion - #44 (UCLA)

Week 4 PAC-10 FB Rankings
1. Southern Cal (2-0, 0-0) - SC isn’t immune to the rest of the PACs futile attempts at playing football. I cant see a one-loss SC team making the BCS Championship game over a 1 loss BIG-12 or SEC team after the embarrassing OOC losses EVERY other team has suffered. The only thing that can keep SC from going to the title game is a letdown during a long eight-game stint without a bye.

Game of the week: Georgia at Arizona State
At this time last week I was looking forward to this game in a big way. Now I’m not sure what to think. ASU obviously was embarrassed over the weekend but Georgia didn’t exactly look...

New Oregon FB uni's?
Here is a quote from this report:
“Nike founder Phil Knight, a major Oregon booster, was in attendance. He said Oregon, which has nearly 400 uniform combinations and wore a different one every game last season courtesy of Nike, isn’t done breaking out new looks. ‘We’ve got another one coming this year,’ he said. When asked what it will be, Knight smiled and replied,...

Week 3 PAC-10 FB Rankings
What an insane weekend of games. The conference had a chance to prove some things and stumbled terribly going 3-7. The Mountain West was 4-0 this weekend against the PAC-10 and sits 5-0 on the season (I still think Utah and BYU should be added to the PAC-10). The only thing I think we know is that every team other than UW and WSU are in the hunt for the number two spot in the conference and the...

PAC-10 FB Pick-em, week 3
Well this is the first and only weekend where every PAC-10 team is playing an OOC opponent. There are some big match-ups with conference pride at stake and even some of the lesser games will be exciting due to evenly matched teams, must win situations, etc…Make your picks in the comments for the bustedtees.com shirt.

OREGON FOOTBALL FUTURE SCHEDULES →
Some very cool match-ups in the next several years, including Colorado, Kansas State, Georgia and Tennessee. Not to mention a bunch of games with “BCS buster” type teams like Boise State, Nevada, Utah, etc… I would like to see Fresno State added back into the fold and some serious cupcakage put in. Ducks have been fortunate to win many big OOC games the last several years but I...

Here are my week 2 rankings and short recaps. Next week is a big OOC week and should begin to tell us a little more about what we can expect when PAC-10 play really heats up. Give your thoughts in the comments.

I’m not going to pretend to know a lot about football, these are just my thoughts on each team after week one. I’ll do this after each week unless I get bored. Use the new comments section to give your thoughts.
1. USC - Not sure how they could be anything other than #1 after that dominating performance. After Ohio State we will know if they are really good or incredible.
2. CAL - I...
