Article on the Samoan quarterbacks for the Ducks and Beavs
I’ve been on a partial media blackout this week. When I see a headline that looks as though some spineless “Civil War” rhetoric will be regurgitated I simply pass it over. I think it has as much to do with despising inaccuracy in news (thanks J-School) as it does with the pure negativity of it all. If I want Bill O’Reilly style “journalism” I’ll watch The Factor. Think about it this way, if you’ve been searching a message board all day to try and figure out if your star player’s bowel movements are aligning correctly with kickoff, do you really have the perspective to give a well reasoned opinion? Everyone thinks their 9-4 team is the best 9-4 team at the end of the season. Perspective people, perspective. But, articles like this are what college sports are all about. Two kids and two teams working hard and then when they finally meet, they let it rip and let the chips fall as they may.
